PARIS, May 9 (Xinhua) -- French carmaker Renault on Saturday said it was considering dismantling and recycling used cars at its Flins plant near Paris.
"A public inquiry is underway in Flins to determine the suitability and feasibility of the disassembly and recovery of vehicles destined to be scrapped," a spokesman for the carmaker said.
Carmakers usually leave the work of dismantling and recycling to external partners.
