Brazil's accumulated primary surplus increases sharply: study

RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 23 (Chinese media) -- Brazil registered an accumulated primary surplus of 91.5 billion reais (38.43 billion U.S. dollars) in the first 11 months this year, 38.9 percent up from the same period last year, announced the government Tuesday.

The investment the country attracted during the period reached 22.9 billion reais (9.62 billion dollars), up 45 percent from the same period last year.

Total revenues amounted to 41 billion reais (17.22 billion dollars) in November, down from October's 55.6 billion reais (23.35 billion dollars), according to the study.

It also noted that the country's total expenditures in November reached 45.3 billion reais (19.03 billion dollars), higher than the previous month's 40.7 billion reais (17.09 billion dollars).
