KUALA LUMPUR, May 4 (Xinhua) -- The Malaysia stock market ended higher here on Monday. 
The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1009.36 up 18.62points or 1.84 percent, and the Emas was at 6,684.41 up 142.55 points or 2.13 percent. 
There were 535 gainers, 152 losers and 155 counters traded unchanged. 
Turnover decreased to 1.75 Billion shares valued at 1.62 billion ringgit Malaysia (460.23 million U.S. dollars), compared with 1.64 billion shares valued at 1.78 billion ringgit Malaysia (494.44 million U.S. dollars) on last Thursday.
