Thai stocks up 2.96%

BANGKOK, May 4 (Xinhua) -- The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index moved up 14.57 points, or 2.96 percent, to close at 506.26 points on Monday.

Some 4.73 billion shares worth 20.26 billion baht (about 578.85million U.S. dollars) changed hands.

The SET moved up 8.19 points, or 1.69 percent, to close at 491.69 points on Thursday.
