JAKARTA, Dec. 31 (Chinese media) -- The Indonesian government planned to issue global bonds next year despite the slowdown of global financial routs, Finance Ministry said here on Wednesday.
Treasury Director of the Ministry Rahmad Waluyanto said that the value of the bonds would depend on how much the demand from the market.
However, the director said that the date of the issuance is not set yet.
The U.S. stimulus plant is predicted to spur appetite investors on assets at the emerging market, including Indonesia.
Indonesia has planned to issue global conventional bonds and Islamic bonds or sukuk this year but was delayed due to the global financial turmoil.
