Special Report:Global Financial Crisis

BUENOS AIRES, March 9 (Chinese media) -- Argentine Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana said on Monday that the global financial crisis should be addressed with the cooperation of all countries.

In a meeting with Argentine ambassadors, Taiana said that tiding over the global financial crisis must not be at the expense of the emerging economies as the crisis originated in developed countries.

According to Taiana, the crisis is of long term and has had an impact on the world economy.

"It is necessary to overcome the crisis with cooperation among all countries, big, medium and small ones alike, especially countries in the Latin American region", the foreign minister said.

"We must enhance regional integration in the South American Common Market (Mercosur) and in Latin America," he added.
