BEIJING, March 10 (Chinese media) -- Chinese equities fell 1.02 percent Tuesday on
concern about the February consumer inflation data, which was due to come out
the same day, would exacerbate the deflation pressure and impede economic
growth, analysts said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 1.02 percent to 2,097.14.
The Shenzhen Component Index was down 1.47 percent, to 7,829.97.
