Dollar at lower-98 yen in Tokyo

TOKYO, March 6 (Chinese media) -- The U.S. dollar stood at the lower-98 yen level

Friday morning in Tokyo.

The dollar bought 98.10-15 yen at midday, compared with 98.01-11 yen in New

York and 99.60-62 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro was quoted at 1.2565-2570 dollars and 123.31-36 yen, against

1.2535-2545 dollars and 122.91-123.01 yen in New York and 1.2610-2612 dollars

and 125.60-64 yen in Tokyo late Thursday.
