TAIPEI, Feb. 4 (Chinese media) -- About 58 percent of Taiwan companies believe the economy will improve in the new year and 54 percent have started hiring ahead of the turnaround, a survey has found.
The survey, by human resources firm 104 Job Bank, was conducted from Jan. 6 to Jan. 13 and drew 670 responses, local media reports said Wednesday.
Sectors that reported the need to hire staff included finance, law, accounting, education, health care and environmental protection.
According to the survey, 54 percent of the responding companies found it easier to get suitable staff as job seekers have lowered their demands.
